New Intercultural Theatre:

Methods, Techniques and Strategies of Making Contemporary Theatre

Join us at Asian Intercultural Conference (AIC) 2014 , a global gathering of actors, writers, directors, scholars and researchers with an interest in the “Asian Intercultural”.

Asia encompasses a vast diversity. Within its bounds are societies, histories and forms of life that constantly feed theatre; from its teeming transnational cities to the regional townships and local villages, theatre is conceived, composed, constructed, and received. The process of making theatre draws upon all our resources, human capacities, faculties and cultures.

This conference seeks to explore and examine those resources that emerge from Asia and the interactions and interplays they suggest. This will be done through keynote lectures, work-demonstrations and presentations over four days.
